Clive Drake (Managing Director)

With a career spanning over 50 years, Clive started the practice in 1974 after working at Healey & Baker / Cushman & Wakefield and Wright & Partners. He has built up a multitude of valuable connections in the property world and has considerable knowledge, expertise and experience in many facets of the property industry. He has advised and represented numerous high profile clients in various sectors including retail, leisure and general development. His work has been very diverse and he has been involved with many major corporate sales and acquisitions as well as general land and tenant dealings on rent reviews and lease renewals. His particular strength over the years has been assisting both large and small companies grow their portfolios and outlets and he has been a highly valuable input in promoting and advising on their expansion programmes.

With four children and four grandchildren, he has found refuge enjoying competitive tennis and squash over the years in addition to being found in the gym whilst gardening and photography are subjects much admired as also are the Gunners!

Matthew Drake (Associate Director)

After work experience with other property consultants Matt joined the company with the initial particular role and responsibility to assist retirement and care home clients in their expansion programmes which meant suitable properties had to be found and acquired for redevelopment. His drive, determination and skill to spot the right site has resulted in numerous successful acquisitions of both existing commercial and residential properties, some being highly challenging and complex. He has also acted for various high profile residential developers purchasing a number of substantial development sites including brownfield and strategic land.

As well as chasing deals, Matt also enjoys long distance running, gym and tennis! He shares a love for Arsenal which makes office life much easier and his guilty pleasure is Black Forest gateau!

Charlotte Szypryt (Associate Director)

Charlotte studied History at the University of Reading and after graduating, she spent a few years working in the marketing and events industry. In 2015, Charlotte was finally lured into joining the team. She has enjoyed the varied role of being a property agent and has gained detailed understanding of the development sector, dealing with both property / land owners, as well as house builders, investors and developers. She also enjoys taking control of office organising and marketing for the company.

Fashion, fitness, photography, tennis and brunching out with family and friends are just a few things that she loves to do! And yes, before you ask, she does beat Clive and Matt on the tennis court, although, Clive’s cheeky slice backhand does get the better of her sometimes!
